Rocky Palooza XII is proud to announce a new EVENT: a game show!
Not Marriage Maze or even The Thirty Second Quiz (with that eternal Showbiz Whiz – Bert Schnict!) but a Rocky-ized (read: perverted) version of the long running game show: THE FAMILY FEUD.
THE ROCKY FEUD (idea lovingly stolen borrowed from Scott Schweinfurth of Sins O’ The Flesh) pits teams head to head in a battle to declare who is more awesome (and we’re all at least slightly awesome). Questions have been asked to 100 random audience members at Rocky shows to gain our poll results. Questions range from geeky to risqué.
The idea is to have 4 teams: two sets go against each other and then the winners of the first round go against each other.

Holy SHIT, we got HOLY GRAIL
It’s the announcement you’ve all been waiting for. That most quotable-cult comedy classic, MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL will be our Friday Night Midnight Movie. Say your favorite lines along with us in a Quote-A-Long showing at Midnight on Friday of Palooza at the Blue Mouse Theater! This will NOT be shadowcast, but we’re looking to make this as eventful as possible. Friday night will also have a cosplay party that we’ll have details about soon – Holy Grail costumes will be great! Bring your coconuts, your Holy Hand Grenade and all your minstrels. We’re willing to take in any ideas you have to make this a grand event. Like Rocky, it will be open to the public so let’s show them how awesome we are!
--Tickets are included in the price of a Palooza ticket or $5 separately (to drag your friends to)
REMINDER: Palooza Tickets are $45 bucks until June 30th. On July 1st, they go up to $55 and T-shirt is no longer guaranteed.
"HORRIBLE" News / Vendors/ Ad Space
You’re going to have a HORRIBLE time at Palooza. A “Doctor Horrible” time that is. Joss Whedon’s cult hit “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog” has been added to our line up for Palooza! The show will be Saturday afternoon at the Lodge event space - not at the Blue Mouse Theater. The show will be shadowcast – from local Rocky Horror performers and we’ve reached out to a certain Seattle charity organization that may be fans to help out as well!
We’re also announcing the opening of vendor tables. We have already signed up with Tacoma’s Nerdy Stuffs, everyone’s favorite nerdy retail store (https://www.facebook.com/NerdyStuffs) and City Blocks (https://www.facebook.com/cityblocks) – where you can make your favorite scenes with Legos! For your own table, the cost is $25. E-mail us at NWRockyPalooza12@gmail.com (with subject line Vendor Table) to reserve yours. We take check at the event, via mail (message us for the address), and a PayPay is being set up at the moment for posting later. Please reserve your table by August 1st.
We’re also opening up Program Advertising and Boosters.
A full page ad is $20, half page $15 and quarter page $10.
Have a message to someone, something you just need to say, or something fun you want to put in the program? For only a dollar – how much? ONE DOLLAR! – you can put your message in! Same payment option and e-mail as above with appropriate subject lines.

DnDinner and Gaming Cosplay Party!
In previous posts we here at NW RockyPalooza XII have mentioned Friday night festivities before our showing of MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL.
Keeping with our theme, Friday night’s party will be all about our favorite fandoms. Party favors, games, decorations – all about mixing Rocky Horror with Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Joss Whedon, etc! Games, did I say? We’ll have plenty of games ranging from board and card games to trivia contests to a NERF Villain shooting gallery! (There’s a reason I bought that 4 foot blow up Dalek last year!
Rocky Horror is about Audience Participation and so is this party! In your registration (Haven’t registered – or bought tickets? – go here! LINKIES) we asked you what you COSPLAY as. Here’s where it takes effect! We’d love to see your cosplay, whether it be a straight cosplay or mixed with Rocky Costuming (like a theme show) – we want you to wear it! There will be prizes for best Cosplay (straight) and Best Rocky Mix!
Of course being a party – there will be geeky music from our DJ, drinks (with donations ;-) ), and other fun stuffs!
Don't forget APPLICATIONS are due on the FiFTEENTH!

Today, July 31st the last day of the $55 tier. Tomorrow they go up to $65. Tickets will be available until the day before the event. Friday and Saturday will be at the door only, for $65 as well.

Casting is ready!! We’ve tried to answer all applicants’ desires. If there are any issues please let us know at NWRockyPalooza12@gmail.com. If you put in an application and were not cast – also drop us a line, it was merely an oversight and not a snubbing. Unlike previous years this does include host cast as we elected not to do the standard Friday night host show. This is so we can all interact together.
Don’t forget ROCKY HORROR SAVED MY LIFE will be filming as well. If it’s anything like Chicago Con there will be a camera moving in and around the performances. Trixies – You’re welcome to perform whatever style you desire, but please note that if you go down to topless, you must wear pasties. If you’d like to contact each other and plan let me know. Speaking of – we will also announce our performers from our attendees! Be prepared for Jordan the Amazon, Deadly Sweet, Pearl Damned Daily, and Tinkerbell!
